So last Wednesday night, Pi catering had their second dinner and it was a great success with really good feedback on the food. This is a really exciting time for me, because for the very first time in my cooking career, I am cooking for myself now (when I was a Head and Executive chef it was always cooking for the owners)… my company, my name. There is a little more pressure when its your name at stake, but it also drives you to try and be better than anyone else and that’s what puts you head and shoulders above others. Not that I didn’t put 110% into my work before, but this has a little more excitement and “do what ever it takes ” mentality to produce the food that I see in my head when I write a menu.
